The "Máni Series" is a limited edition, one-of-a-kind handcrafted 24 Rune wood set based on the Elder Futhark System and comes with a bonus cotton rune pouch featuring an RSD bindrune print.
Each rune has been hand carved, wood burned and coloured (acrylic paint) into silver rune staves.
The edges of the rune discs are smooth/rounded, and the exterior (sides) of the runes have a burned black bark finish.
Each rune disc has been "blackened" over a candle flame 3 times with the soot rubbed into the wood grain of the rune face and sides after each burning process. Some of the bark on the sides can be missing due to the burning process. The blackened sides have a leather-quality feel to the touch after I applied the linseed oil as a sealing protectant.
 
This particular rune set was created from a dead oak branch found in the Lambton Woods/Humber Trail forest behind my apartment in Ontario.
 
These runes were created from February 10th, 2024 to March 27th, 2024 and charged under the Worm Moon (Full Moon) on March 25th, 2024 and the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. During the stave carving process, the runes were loaded with rune-galdr (incantation).
